MARSEILLE V BORDEAUX PREDICTIONS

After many weeks spent in 3rd position of this Ligue 1, Marseille finally managed to steal Lyon’s 2nd spot. They will now obviously aim at keeping this position for the next 8 games.

Marseille remains on 4 games without losing, with a very important 1-0 away win in Nice last week. At home, they won 8 of their 14 games, drawing in 3 and losing 3 as well. They still don’t have an exciting game but they keep on using their mental skills and solidarity to grab the points.

Bordeaux is stuck in midtable, in 9th position. They haven’t been impressive this season, especially in the league, but were not so bad in Europa League. When playing away from home, they have a 5-6-4 record (best away defence with just 11 goals conceded).

In their first game this season, Bordeaux won 1-0 at home thanks to a goal from Gouffran who is now playing in Newcastle.

Even though two big French clubs are playing each other, I expect a very annoying game.
