Sports Betting is excited for the start of NBA playoff betting and we are happy to break down the odds of this 4 vs 5 Eastern Conference matchup. The Celtics come in as the series favorite at -190. It’s a number that would have seemed quite low, only a few months ago. However, the Boston Celtics odds of winning another title have grown with their lack of consistency.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat series price is +165. Ordinarily, you would think these NBA betting odds are quite low. But when you factor in just how good Dwayne Wade has been as of late, it’s not too much of a stretch to think he can single-handedly keep this series close and give Miami a chance.

Wade is the highest-scoring player in this series and also leads his team in assists. As for Boston, they spread the ball around and rely mostly on Ray Allen and Paul Pierce to put the ball in the bucket. Don’t look at Kevin Garnett to light it up offensively. We recommend betting against him on any NBA player props, he’s been too inconsistent.

The sports betting key to this series will be Boston’s defense. If the Celtics can keep the Heat under 100, they should win this series in five games. If not, it will be a long series.

Where can the Heat look for an edge in this series? Miami was the better rebounding team in the regular season and they have to dominate the glass if they want a shot at winning straight out. In fact, it’s hard to come up with a scenario where the NBA odds for any game in this series will have the Heat favored.

Boston swepts the season series against Miami and that’s what makes them extremely confident going into this battle. It’s also why you should be confident laying the points in Saturday’s opener (Celtics -4). Favoring Boston by only four points, even with a .500 record since last December, is almost criminal! In fact, take the -180 straight out, too. While the Celtics may not sweep this series, they will come out on fire with something to prove in the opener.

And don’t forget about ********* NBA props. Get in on the props and enjoy the action that much more.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Both are good teams and I was thinking of where should I bet
since they are both doing good, but thanks to your point of view I know where to bet now. :)

I hope you saw the date when he posted ;)
