Personally I like pokerstars. The advantage to play at such large room is you never have to wait for a game, and I hate to wait. So in my opinion Pokerstars is one of the best if not the best online poker room.

A pretty good list that is a good starting points for beginners. I like #2, do not play drunk. Yes you can but then this is called gambling, not skilled poker. And drunk players are welcome. In fact they might be hard to play if they become maniacs.
