Regular training and improvement is best. It just won't work without you getting better and better. Personally, I now use the GTO wizard app for this, which evaluates my steps and gives me suggestions for improvement. I think such apps can help you a lot.

Yes, poker is still profitable job, but you need to know how to play it. If you arent good player and you are loosing most of the time its not good way. Poker is generally a fairly difficult game and takes a long time to learn to play at such a level that you win consistently.
