Just look at Brentford's owner, Matthew Benham :) It's extremely difficult. Beating soft bookies doesn't take too much experience, as you can hunt bonuses, place arbs, which will give you steady profits (although far from being enough to make a living, but hey, it's good for a side hussle)...

Super useful list, I'd add placing mug bets (e.g. betbuilders, multiples), especially in the beginning, and also try to use rounded stakes to mask your arbs.
