Agree, all beginners usually start with local bookies, and if the guy is really from Spain he would have likely started with a Bet365 account.

It's a good business for them, wait for the player to lose all the money, if he wins, find an excuse that the bets were suspicious. They can't lose with this strategy and don't care at all about ethics.

That's harsh, some of us have no choice but to use a broker to have good odds. My local bookies are very greedy on the margin (also a tax issue I suppose), in the end it is impossible to win even after 20 or 30 bets with such poor odds.
