Hello folks, I am new here, having just registered.
So, I've been on sports betting since 2006, and throughout all those years
I used Betfair, William Hill and Bet365. In fact, I only restarted using Bet365
a couple of weeks ago - only on football. Previously I used mostly Betfair.
This morning I read plenty of posts on this website about making money
with online betting. For those who are not aware of it, there is such a thing
called 'dutching'. This is a method where you spread your money across a
number of bets, and if any of those bets win, you've made your money.
Here is an example of dutching. Today I was on KF Vitia v KF Arberia football
match in Kosovo. So, as you know, in football, there is only one outcome of three
possible results: a home win, an away win or a draw. So basically you have
in football a 66.66% chance of winning ANY match.
As for my football dutching bet, I checked an online dutching calculator which
can be accessed here: https://www.oddschecker.com/betting-tools/dutching-calculator
So I was dutching that there would be a winner and NO draw. So if either of
these two teams wins, I win. Before kick-off, both teams were trading at:
KF Vitia - 5.00
KF Arberia - 1.57
When I put the odds into the dutching calculator with a total outlay of £3.00, it
calculated the following:
KF Vitia - put on a £0.72 stake
KF Arberia - put on a £2.28 stake
The result was: KF Arberia 2 - KF Vitia 0. My overall profit for my £3.00 stake was £0.58.
If this sounds a bit complicated, just Google the word 'dutch' in football matches.
