Eintracht Frankfurt and Glasgow Rangers will participate in the final of Europa League at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in Seville. Few words about the competition. The UEFA Europa League, formerly the UEFA Cup, is established in 1971 by UEFA. It is considered the second most important international competition for European clubs, after the Champions League. Clubs qualify for the Europa League based on their performance in national leagues and cup competitions. Tottenham won the inaugural competition in 1972, defeating Wolverhampton 3:2 on aggregate. Sevilla holds the record for the most victories, having won the competition six times since its inception. The competition has been won 13 times by teams from Spain, more than any other country. The current champions are Villarreal, who defeated Manchester United 11:10 on penalties in the 2021 final.

Now about the match. Frankfurt were excellent so far in the competition. The German outfit finished as first in the group that also consisted Olympiakos, Antwerp and Fenerbahce. They came directly to the second knock-out round where faced Betis. Frankfurt won 2:1 in Sevilla, but lost 1:0 at home. The match went into the extra time in which Betis players scored an own goals. In the quarterfinals Frankfurt managed to eliminate the European heavyweights Barcelona. Many believed their European dreams have came to the end after the draw in Germany. But not the players and coach Oliver Glasner. Supported by thousands of their fans at Camp Nou, the Germans made a miracle and won 3:2. Finally, they beat twice West Ham and secured the final. Glasner has some injury issues ahead of the match. Martin Hinteregger is sidelined with a hamstring problem - one which is expected to keep him out for a couple of months. Evan Ndicka left the last match against Mainz with a muscular issue, but should recover in time for the final. Diant Ramaj, Jesper Lindstrom and Danny da Costa are definitely sidelined.

Glasgow Rangers will try to celebrate their 150-year anniversary with a second European trophy at their sixth attempt. They played four knock-out rounds and managed to eliminate Bundesliga Giants Borussia Dortmund, the former European champions Red Star Belgrade, Braga from Portugal and another German side Red Bull Leipzig in the semi-finals. Rangers lost 1:0 in the first leg and needed two-goal victory at Ibrox to secure the final. And they did so in style. James Tavernier scored for 1:0 after 19 minutes, while Glen Kamara's pinpoint strike into the bottom corner made it 2:0. But the Germans refused to surrender and their best scorer Christopher Nkunku found the back of the net in the 71st minute with a delightful volley. With only nine minutes to go, John Lundstram netted the third and spark wild celebrations among the home crowd. Manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who made no fewer than 10 changes at the weekend, will be without Filip Helander and Alfredo Morelos due to injury, while Ianis Hagi is not registered to play in the competition. Joe Aribo and Ryan Jack both left the second leg against Leipzig through injuries, but should be ready for the final. The 40-year-old Allan McGregor should start at goalkeeping position.

E. Frankfurt vs Rangers Prediction:

I expect Frankfurt to win the final. They showed quality and passion so far. The German outfit were excellent in Europa this season. They managed to eliminate lot of favorites so far, including the European heavyweights Barcelona. Coach Oliver Glasner is doing a fantastic job and the fans are pleased. Speaking of fans, they are unbelievable. No team have such support, they are coming in large number on every match, home or away. They are not asking the price to be at the stadium and I have no doubt they will occupy the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in Seville. Usually I am focused on the players, but now I think the fans could make the difference.

E. Frankfurt vs Rangers Pick: Frankfurt to win @ 2.40 with Pinnacle

My pick:
Rangers over 2.5 cards @ 2,00

And also hope that Frankfurt will destroy them 🤞
