In France, Lille - Spain Star Power Forward Pau Gasol dominated the defending champion France in a classic showdown in European Basketball Championship and qualified to the next year Olympics. Spain was a title holder of 2009 and 2011 they will be competing from the winner of Friday's semifinal showdown between Lithuania and Serbia. The two winning team will automatically qualified for the Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
