Chelsea vs Brighton & Hove Albion Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Chelsea:

Brighton & Hove Albion:

Chelsea will welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Stamford Bridge for a Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon. The Blues have started the Premier League campaign with a solid results - three victories, one draw and one defeat, a total of 10 points after the first five rounds. The start wasn't promising, Chelsea suffered a 2:0 home loss to the reigning champions Manchester City. The defeat wasn't a big surprise as Pep Guardiola's men are dominant in England. The next period was very successful for Maresca and his players. Chelsea beat 6:2 Wolverhampton at Moulinex, beat 4:0 West Ham at London Stadium and beat 1:0 Bournemouth. The Blues also successfully started the European campaign and secured the group stage in the Conference League, eliminating Servette from Switzerland. Finally, the Blues trashed 5:0 the fourth-tier team Barrow in the Carabao Cup. Maresca has no new injury worries, but Reece James remain sidelined.

Brighton & Hove Albion have collected nine points and occupy the seventh place on the table. The Seagulls are between the teams yet to lose in the Premier League, together with Manchester City, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest, arguably the most pleasant surprise. Many fans were pessimists after Roberto de Zerbi left the club this summer, however new manager Fabian Hurzeler is doing an excellent job. Nevertheless, he will not lead the team on Saturday due to suspension. Hurzeler has been charged by the FA with "acting in an improper manner" in the match against Nottingham last weekend. I rate his absence as a handicap, despite the fact he will stay in touch with the assistant coach Andrew Crofts. Some players are also unavailable. Joao Pedro is sidelined after picked up a knock in the closing stages of last weekend's draw with Forest and this is a problem. Three players remain out injured - Matt O'Riley, Solly March and James Milner. But there are some good news too. Yasin Ayari is available after missing the last match through illness, while summer signing Brajan Gruda could also return.

Chelsea vs Brighton & Hove Albion Prediction:

The Blues are favorites in this match, though it won't be easy. Chelsea have won just one of their last four Premier League meetings with Brighton at Stamford Bridge, a 3:2 home victory in December 2023. However, I do believe Chelsea could win. Brighton should not be underestimated, but they were lucky at the Emirates. I am sure they will lost the match if Arsenal were complete. As You probably know, Declan Rice was sent off on that match. Maresca is doing an excellent job and this season will not be poor like the previous.

Chelsea vs Brighton & Hove Albion Pick:
Chelsea to win @ 1.74 with Pinnacle

Manchester United vs Tottenham Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Manchester United:
Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Martinez, Dalot; Eriksen, Mainoo; Diallo, Fernandes, Garnacho; Zirkzee

Tottenham:
Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Kulusevski, Bentancur, Maddison; Johnson, Solanke, Son

Manchester United will welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Old Trafford in the derby match of Premier League this weekend. United opened the season with a 1:0 win over Fulham, but then weren't so successful winning just one of the remaining four league matches. To be worse, they suffered two painful defeats, losing to Brighton at Amex and losing to Liverpool at home in the third round. It was just another humiliation for Erik ten Hag. He is under big pressure, losing to Liverpool is always very frustrating for the fans. However, the last results are better - Man United are unbeaten on the last four matches across all competitions. The Red Devils beat Southampton in the Premier League and lower-division side Barnsley in the Carabao Cup, but played only draw with Crystal Palace and Twente. Ten Hag has some injury worries ahead of this match. He remains without four defenders with Leny Yoro, Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof absent. New signing Manuel Ugarte, who came from Paris St-Germain for 50m Euros initial deal, brought some sort of stability. At least I think so.

Having fallen short last season, Tottenham started the new campaign with Champions League qualification as their primary aim. But the current results are not at desired level. Just as their actual rivals, Tottenham have collect seven points from the first five matches in the Premier League. The Spurs shared the points with Leicester City at King Power in the first round, while trashed Everton 4:0 in the second. And just when the fans start dreaming about one successful season, Ange Postecoglou's men suffered two painful defeats. They were beaten 2:1 at Newcastle United and lost 1:0 to Arsenal in North London derby. The victory against Brentford last weekend was very important to stay in touch with Top-4 rivals, but this one even more. Tottenham beat Qarabag 3:0 in UEFA Europa League during the midweek and I believe the players confidence is high at the moment. Postecoglou has the majority of his players available, but Wilson Odobert and Richarlison are confirmed absentees for the trip to Manchester.

Manchester United vs Tottenham Prediction:

I expect an open and efficient match, with at least four goals. Manchester United play at home and the players are under big pressure. The fans are asking for victory and Ten Hag has no space for calculations. Tottenham, meanwhile, are offensive-minded team under Postecoglou and they are able to score on every game, home or away. The problem is they rarely kept clean sheet, just one on five league encounters. Solanke needed some time for acclimatization, but now started scoring. He netted a brace against Qarabag during the midweek and I expect more from him.

Manchester United vs Tottenham Pick:
Over 3.5 goals @ 2.04 with Pinnacle
