Burnley vs Arsenal Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Burnley:
Dubravka; Walker, Tuanzebe, Esteve, Hartman; Florentino, Cullen; Bruun Larsen, Ugochukwu, Anthony; Flemming

Arsenal:
Raya; Timber, Mosquera, Gabriel, Calafiori; Eze, Zubimendi, Rice; Saka, Gyokeres, Trossard

Burnley will try to upset the Premier League leaders Arsenal when two sides face on Saturday afternoon. The Clarets must match a 50-year feat if they are to defy the rankings this weekend - they have not claimed a top-flight victory against the side starting the day in first place since 1975. The Scott Parker's men sit on the 16th place, five points away from the drop zone. As newcomers, they were supposed to be involved into the relegation battle. However, the actual form is good, Burnley registered two victories on the last two matches in the Premier League. First, they managed to beat 2:0 Leeds United and then won 3:2 away at Wolverhampton. The atmosphere in the squad is very good, while the players confidence is higher. Parker has no new injury or suspension worries, but three players remain sidelined due to injuries - Jordan Beyer, Zeki Amdouni and Connor Roberts. None of them is expected back before the end of the calendar year.

Arsenal won 2:0 against Brighton on Wednesday and qualify for the Carabao Cup quarterfinals. Generally, October was a fantastic month for Mikel Arteta and his players. While their biggest rivals Liverpool collapsed, they wrote a history. Arsenal became the first top-flight team to play six games in a single month and not concede one goal in any of them. The series started with a 2:0 win against Olympiakos in the Champions League, while the other victims were West Ham, Fulham, Atletico Madrid, Crystal Palace and already mentioned Brighton. I already wrote the confidence of Burnley players is higher, but what about Arsenal players and their confidence - "High as Everest" could be the measure. Arteta has six injury worries ahead of this match. Gabriel Jesus, Noni Madueke, Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz remain out, while William Saliba and Gabriel Martinelli are rated as doubtful.

Burnley vs Arsenal Prediction:

Both teams are in good form. While Burnley won the last two matches, Arsenal set a new English record. They became the first top-flight team to play six games in a single month and won all of them without conceding a single goal. Arteta composed a fantastic team and they are main candidates for the title. Not only in domestic Premier League , but also in UEFA Champions League. Burnley are solid team and they play at home, but Arsenal are class above other teams at the moment. They are lacking creativity due to Odegaard's absence, but set-pieces become their most dangerous weapon. The odds for straight victory are too low, so I will suggest a handicap win.

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Nottingham Forest:
Sels; Savona, Murillo, Milenkovic, Williams; Anderson, Luiz; Ndoye, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Jesus

Manchester United:
Lammens; De Ligt, Maguire, Shaw; Amad, Casemiro, Fernandes, Dalot; Mbeumo, Cunha; Sesko

Nottingham Forest will welcome high-flying Manchester United to City Ground. The new season started in opposite way for these two teams. It was turbulent in Nottingham. The club that were fighting for a Champions League spot until the last day of the last season, are now in the drop zone with only five points. Manager Nuno Espirito Santo, a hero from the last season, was sacked by the owner Evangelos Marinakis. Even more, Nuno was handed a new contract this summer. However, he said in August that his relationship with co-owner Marinakis was "not the same" and "not so good as it was last season". But his successor, Ange Postecoglou, failed to improve the things and failed to record a single victory in his opening eight games. At the end Postecoglou was replaced by Sean Dyche, a pragmatic coach with big Premier League experience. Ola Aina and Dilane Bakwa remain sidelined, while best striker Chris Wood and Oleksandr Zinchenko are rated as doubtful due to knee and groin injury respectively.

Manchester United are finally playing good. After years and years of broken promises, they did start according to fans expectations. They have taken five wins from their first nine Premier League games this season. To be better, they are one point ahead of arch-rivals Liverpool and Manchester City. Even the second-placed Bournemouth are not far away, just two points. Manager Rubin Amorim, who insisted on his philosophy, is no more under pressure. Even the co-owner Jim Ratcliffe has suggested Amorim will be evaluated after three years in the job. Amorim has few injury worries ahead of this match. The Anfield hero Harry Maguire has missed the win over Brighton with a minor injury and should be available now. His fellow defender Lisandro Martinez remains sidelined with a knee injury. Leny Yoro could start from the bench if Maguire is fit to begin in the back three alongside Matthijs de Ligt and Luke Shaw. Cunha, who has improved his form, is expected to continue in attack with Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko.

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United Preview:

Last season Nottingham won both matches against Manchester United. However, many things had been turned away in the meantime. Forest are in deep crisis, Dyche is their third manager in the new season. Nottingham are in series of four league defeats. On contrary, the Red Devils are in series of three victories in the Premier League and the players confidence is high. One of these three victories was obtain at Anfield, against the reigning champions Liverpool. Mbeumo looks unstoppable at the moment, but don't forget Amorim has more players able to make a difference, like Cunha, Sesko or Bruno Fernandes. I think Man United are closer to the victory here.

Liverpool vs Aston Villa Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Liverpool:
Mamardashvili; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Gravenberch, Szoboszlai; Salah, Wirtz, Gakpo; Ekitike

Aston Villa:
Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Torres, Digne; Onana, Kamara; Malen, Rogers, McGinn; Watkins

Liverpool are in deep crisis and that's very frustrating situation knowing how much they spent this summer. During the weekend they suffered the fourth successive Premier League defeat. Many pundits are debating about the reasons for such collapse. Some of them, like Jamie Caragher pointed a finger to manager Arne Slott. Nevertheless, It is not easy to sack the manager who won the title. The crisis started with Crystal Palace when Liverpool suffered the first loss. Everybody thought it was just a "bad day" and didn't care too much, but the defeats to Chelsea, Manchester United and Brentford increased the pressure to Slott and his players. In addition, the Reds lost to Galatasaray in the Champions League and were eliminated from the Carabao Cup after losing 3:0 to Crystal Palace at Anfield. Slot decided to rest his key players, in order to keep them fresh for this match. Some good news came from the medical department as Ryan Gravenberch could be available. Two more players - Alexander Isak and Curtis Jones - are rated as doubtful. According to Slott, they are 99% out. Finally, Alisson Becker and Jeremie Frimpong are definitely sidelined. Defender Amara Nallo is suspended, but he would have never come into contention for a start anyway.

Aston Villa are sharing the seventh place with Liverpool as both teams have 15 points. But there is a difference between these two teams and their current form. While Liverpool lost four matches in a row, Aston Villa are in series of four victories. The Villans managed to beat Fulham, Burnley, Tottenham and Manchester City last weekend. The players confidence is high, but the atmosphere in the squad isn't with correlation with the results. The reason has a name - Jadon Sancho. He was loaned by Man United and has a poor start to life at Villa Park. Sancho has failed to score or assist in five appearances. As a result, he lost his place in the team. After showing glimpses in the Europa League against Go Ahead Eagles last Thursday, there was a hope that Sancho could kick on when Villa faced Manchester City in the Premier League on the weekend. An early injury to Buendia saw Sancho introduced, only to be hauled off with 15 minutes to go. Sancho left the pitch frustrated. The poor form and his behavior probably means he won't start in this match. Emery cannot count on Harvey Elliott as he is ineligible to play against his parent club. However, his absence isn't a big handicap as Elliott was omitted from the squad against Manchester City anyway. The bigger problem is the absence of two main creative midfielders Emiliano Buendia and Youri Tielemans due to foot and calf injury respectively. Andres Garcia is sidelined too.

Liverpool vs Aston Villa Prediction:

This is a "Do or Die" match for Slott as I believe another poor result would trigger his change. The key players are also under big pressure, starting with Florian Wurtz, one of the most expensive players. The fans are well aware of the situation and I believe they will strongly support their team. Victory is only option here, everything else is a catastrophe. Mohamed Salah should be particularly motivated as he is just one goal or assist away from equaling the Premier League record for the most contributions for a single club. The Egypt international is looking for his 276th goal involvement for Liverpool, a record currently hold by Manchester United's Wayne Rooney. Salah likes to set new records and this is an ideal opportunity for another one.
