Arsenal will welcome Brighton to the Emirates in one of the most interesting clashes of Caraboa Cup fourth round. The Gunners have started the new season in fantastic way. They managed to eliminate the lower-division side Port Vale in the previous round, winning 2:0 as guests. Arteta will take this match serious and I expect a strong eleven. The momentum must be prolonged, the Gunners are on seven-match winning run across all competitions. The atmosphere in the squad is excellent, while the players confidence is "high as Everest". They beat Newcastle, West Ham, Fulham and Crystal Palace in the Premier League, Port Vale in Carabao Cup, as well as Bilbao, Olympiakos and Atletico Madrid in the Champions League a week ago. The fans are dreaming about Premier League title, but there are three more trophies. Of course, the injury list shouldn't be too long. The victory against Palace came at a significant cost, as William Saliba, Declan Rice, Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel Martinelli all suffered knocks and they are rated as doubtful. This match comes too soon for Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard and Noni Madueke.

Brighton secured the Last 16 place in Carabao Cup after two identical victories. They secured a 6:0 win against Oxford United and 6:0 win against Burnsley. Yes, Oxford and Burnsley are lower-division sides, but the high victories should be respected. However, the results in the Premier League are not at the desired level. The Seaguls sit on the 13th place on the table with 12 points. During the weekend they visited Old Trafford, but lost the match with Manchester United. Manager Fabian Hurzeler has to improve the away form. While Brighton are solid hosts, the situation is quite opposite away from home. Yes, they beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but overall they played five games on road and lost three of them - from Everton, Bournemouth and Manchester United. The trip to the Emirates should evoke positive memories for the players and fans, as Brighton left London unbeaten on the last occasion, playing a 1:1 draw in August 2024. Kaoru Mitoma, Joel Veltman and Brajan Gruda are rated as doubtful, while Jack Hinshelwood, Solly March and Adam Webster remain out.

Arsenal vs Brighton Prediction:

I don't think Brighton are able to score at the Emirates. Arsenal are in great form and the players confidence is very high. Their defense is base for the success. The Gunners are in series of five matches across all competitions in which they kept clean sheet. The players confidence is very high, particularly the confidence of goalkeeper Raya and his fellow defenders. Somebody may argue that Brighton scored twice at Old Trafford, but there is a class difference between Arsenal and Manchester United. As I wrote above, Brighton will hardly score at the Emirates. Against the odds, there is a slim possibility the Gunners to be scoreless.
