I have using above methods for link building but just wanted to know that which method is more effective for purpose of traffic, links and search engine ranking?

According to me forum posting is the most effective link method. It really helps your website to get huge traffic from the search engine. It improves the visibility and credibility of your website. It also boosts your search engine ranking.

Social Bookmarking is the effective one and one of the powerful techniques for generating the quality and effective links. I have try this one and I have find it is one of the best and amazing technique.
 
As per my choice, forum posting and social bookmarking are the most effective link building methods. They really help your website to get higher quality backlinks and boosts your page rank. They generate huge traffic and also help your website to get quick indexed by the search engine. They also improve visibility of the website.

I see that all of us is engaging in forum posting atleast :D

But aside from this, I find that guest posting is the best method. Think of it like this: if a link is easy to get, then everyone will sooner or later catch up, get the same link and it will essentially become worthless. If you can acquire links that is hard for others to copy, then it will be relatively worth a lot more. That is why I put in the extra effort of creating high quality articles that I offer to other webmasters in exchange for a link back to one of my sites. This makes it harder for my competitors to keep up and I start to outrank them. This does require work though, so beware lazy webmasters.
