I'm sure most of us are unlucky enough to be surrounded by 'civilians' who are against gambling because 'gambling's bad cry cry I'm so morally superior for not gambling.' It's the most frustrating when they're your close friends and family. So let's have a collective rant (hail Marx!) as to the most ridiculous thing you've heard a non-gambler said.

I'll get the ball rolling. Josh Emil Rodner, a friend of my weed dealer, uttered these blasphemous words on April 24th 2019: "You're crazy if you think you can win big at a casino and get away with it. They'll send people to beat you up in an alley or something to take the money back. Or ELse hOw wOuLd tHeY MAke A ProFiT??"

I am married to Indonesian so whenever I go there I always hear how "gambling is so bad" and breaks the life of people. Which is true by the way in some cases. But there are guys that bet on chicken fights and lose tons of money. Anyway, the uncle of my wife is pastor and he needs to say to the local community how gambling is so bad, bla bla etc... And after the service finished he told me "Hey, you wanna go tomorrow to see that cock fights?". I was like stunned. :D I did not go by the way.

Yeah I know some people ruin their lives with gambling but almost anything can ruin your life if you're addicted to it imo. And I have nothing to say for the cock fights haha. Apparently it's not gambling if we do it in the backyard :)
 
to me it is funni when nonbettors say its imposible to win consistantly in the bettling world! The betting game boils down to 2 things
1- having an edge over the bookies
2- having solid bet plan

It's true, you can even win from betting just from arbitrage. Without risking money.

I respectfully disagree. Isn't it better to give yourself a better potential profit by picking the best odds out of all websites?
 
And if you follow a sport intensively enough, you can tell when the oddsmakers are overlooking an underrated 'underdog'.
 
I’ve heard a lot of times from my relatives that it’s about devil and all of that gambling is just not right. Also, my father used to say that if you are gambling, you are selling your soul. I guess it’s just because they don’t understand it, they cannot stand the idea that they are working hard, day after day to make some miserable money, and I just go to a place like noaccountscasino and make ten grants in a day. I know, it’s frustrating if you don’t understand the whole point so that’s why they are getting mad at us, gamblers. Well, that is my point of view on this specific situation.

The important thing that should be explained to people is that you shouldn’t go all-in with your money, just play with the money that you can lose. Once I saw how my brother was betting on a basketball game and won 500$ which was thrilling for me. I got interested in it and he explained how it works and all the odds of it as well. I decided that I should give it a try, the problem was that I had all my money in crypto and I was looking for a place where I can pay with ethereum. Then he sent me the website he best on and on the next day I started ETH sports betting. At first, it didn’t work out for me, but with time I got the idea and started to win.

He is right for himself, most of the people betting end up losing money. It's not a bad advice, even though its my passion too.
 
That it is automatic that you are addicted to gambling if you play in casinos and try some online casinos lol. They may never have heard about responsible casino gamers who casually play for fun.
 
I’ve heard endless stupid things said by non-gamblers about gambling. It is so hilarious to hear them say all these words just because they fear starting to actually gamble and earn some real money. I’ve been playing for a long period of time and using the best australian online casino to get a source of income. Yes, I agree there can be a lot of failures and losses but the situation is not even close to all the bullshit that’s being said and propounded by scared people all over the internet and not only))
 
I've heard from non-gamblers that even popular online casinos are tracking users' screens, hacking into their computers and finding out access to their accounts. I've been playing for 10 years, but nothing like this has ever happened!
