West Ham vs Arsenal Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

West Ham:
Fabianski; Wan-Bissaka, Mavropanos, Kilman, Emerson; Soucek; Bowen, Paqueta, Soler, Summerville; Antonio

Arsenal:
Raya; Timber, Saliba, Kiwior, Calafiori; Odegaard, Rice, Merino; Saka, Havertz, Trossard

West Ham will welcome Arsenal to the London Stadium in the Premier League. The Irons unexpectedly won 2:0 against Newcastle United in the last round and the players confidence is higher. Even more, the victory was secured away from home, at St James Park. Goals by Tomas Soucek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka handed West Ham their first away success since late August and make a life easier for the actual manager Julen Lopetegui. However, the Hammers are sitting on the 14th place, with a six-point lead over the 18th-placed Ipswich Town, the first side in the relegation zone. The home form is solid, they have collected seven points from their last three home games, beating Ipswich Town and Manchester United and sharing the points with Everton. Lopetegui has some injury and suspension issues ahead of this city derby. Niclas Fullkrug and Jean-Clair Todibo are struggling with injuries, while Mohammed Kudus is serving the last game of his five-match ban. Coach Lopetegui serves a touchline ban after he was cautioned for the third time this season.

Arsenal are currently fourth with 22 points. The fact they are nine points behind the leaders Liverpool frustrated the fans, however the actual form is very good. The Gunners won 5:1 against Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League. The victory is even more valuable knowing that Manchester City were humiliated few weeks ago by the same opponents. Five goals were scored by five different players: Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Magalhaes, Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard. The North Londoners were also successful in the last Premier League fixture as they won 3:0 against high-flying Nottingham Forest. It was a dominant display of Arsenal players. The atmosphere in the squad is excellent, while the players confidence is high. Arteta remain without knee injury victims Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu. The situation with Gabriel is not clear. The Brazilian defender withdrew in the finish of the match in Lisbon and he is rated as doubtful. On the positive note, Kieran Tierney finally returned from a hamstring injury to make the bench against Sporting.

West Ham vs Arsenal Prediction:

Arsenal are huge favorites in this game, but West Ham have a good home record against the Gunners. Just one of their last four matches against Arsenal has ended in defeat. I expect an interesting game and I think both sides are able to score. The last results are the key reason for my pick. The Hammers scored twice at St James Park, while Arsenal scored five goals away at Sporting Lisbon. The players confidence is high in both squads, so I believe this will be an efficient match.

Liverpool vs Manchester City Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Liverpool:
Kelleher; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Luis Diaz; Darwin Nunez

Manchester City:
Ederson; Walker, Akanji, Dias, Ake; Nunes, Gundogan, De Bruyne; Bernardo Silva, Haaland, Savinho

Premier League leaders Liverpool will welcome the reigning champions Manchester City to Anfield. The Reds are fantastic this season, winning 10 of the opening 12 league matches. They are the only side with maximal record in the Champions League after five rounds. The Reds managed to beat two Italian sides (AC Milan and Bologna) and two Bundesliga outfits (Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig), as well as the most successful side in the history of the competition Real Madrid. The atmosphere in the squad is excellent, while the players confidence is very high. However, the injury situation became very complicate. Conor Bradley and Ibrahima Konate are the latest victims - the first has suffered a suspected hamstring issue, while the latter sustained an apparent leg problem few seconds before the final whistle. Three more players are definitely sidelined - Diogo Jota, Alisson Becker and Kostas Tsimikas. Federico Chiesa is also not anticipated to return soon due to his fitness issues. But something else could be even bigger problem for Slot. Three key players, Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold are heading into the final few months of his contract, potentially making them free agents in the next period.

Manchester City are in big crisis, maybe the biggest one in the club history. At the same time, Pep Guardiola is on unfamiliar territory. He is not used to lose five matches in a row. The cup defeat to Tottenham could somehow be swallowed, but the humiliation at the Etihad from the same opponents is something very painful. It was a game between "Cat and Mouse" in which Man City lost 4:0 at home. The defeats to Bournemouth and Brighton were big surprises as well as high defeat from Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League. The top European competition have produced another "shock result". And it was worse than a defeat. The Citizens have became the first team ever in the Champions League to blow a three-goal lead in the final 15 minutes. Feyenoord were three goals down since 53rd minute, but they completed a heroic comeback by scoring three times in the finish of the match to add more misery for Pep and City fans. Many pundits are debating about the reasons for this collapse and most of them point the finger to the injury situation. Four players are still sidelined and their absence is a huge handicap - Rodri, John Stones, Oscar Bobb and Mateo Kovacic. Defender Ruben Dias has recovered from a calf injury and he was on the bench against Feyenoord.

Liverpool vs Manchester City Prediction:

Both teams will try to win here. Liverpool play at home, plus they are in fantastic form. The players confidence is high after they outplayed Real Madrid during the midweek. Nevertheless, the Reds showed some weaknesses in the last round when visited Southampton. Liverpool conceded twice in the match against bottom-sided team, but managed to score three. To be worse, one of the key defenders Konate suffered an injury against Real and will be sidelined in the next period. Manchester City are in awful form, they have no win on the last six matches across all competitions, losing five of them. But something else is important for my pick. Each of these six games have finished with Over 2.5 goals. Man City lost 2:1 to Bournemouth and Brighton, lost 2:1 and 4:0 to Tottenham, lost 4:1 to Sporting Lisbon and played a 3:3 draw with Feyenoord.

Liverpool vs Manchester City Pick: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.58 with Pinnacle
