They play poorer and poorer in these years. They were the twelfth in last season. Now they rank the nineteenth in the table of the League. They are not in form, getting 1W-2D-2L recently. If they do not adjust themselves, they are likely to degrade.
They play poorly this season, which have not got any victory this season yet. In last game, they lose to Liverpool at 0-3. What’s worse, Pascal Struijk has been injured in last game. They are in low morale now.
There is no gap between two sides. Both of them are in poor condition. Newcastle United rank the nineteenth in League table and Leeds United rank the seventeenth. So the result of upcoming game is suggested to be a draw.
Liverpool return to the Premier League action and they welcome Crystal Palace at Anfield. The Reds were successful at the begin of the season. They started with three victories and one draw. Jurgen Klopp's men first secured a high 3:0 win at Norwich City thanks to goals by Jota, Firmino and Salah. In the second round they beat Burnley with 2:0. Jota and Mane found the back of the net against the Clarets. The draw with Chelsea in the third round wasn't considered as a good result for two reasons. First, Liverpool played at home, and second, Reece James was sent-off in the finish of the first half. In the last round Liverpool won 3:0 against Leeds United at Eland Road. Mohamed Salah scored his 100th Premier League goal, while Fabinho and Mane also put their names on the scoresheet table. However, everything was overshadowed by Harvey Elliott's injury. The 18-year-old suffered a severe ankle injury and will be sidelined for at least six months. Roberto Firmino and Neco Williams are also out injured. Divock Origi, who started against Milan on Wednesday, was forced off with cramp. The Belgian striker is rated as doubtful, but he wasn't expect to start anyway. Sadio Mane, Virgil van Dijk and Thiago Alcantara should return to the starting eleven.
Crystal Palace are in the middle of the table with five points. According to me, this is a solid result as they had difficult opponents. In the first match of the new season they lost 3:0 to Chelsea and then shared the points with Brentford and high-flying West Ham. In the last round Patrick Vieira's men have obtained a hugely impressive 3:0 triumph over Tottenham. Wilfried Zaha scored the first goal, converting a penalty after Ben Davies was penalised for handball, before substitute Odsonne Edouard added a second and third late on. The French striker, who came from Celtic, introduced himself to the Selhurst Park faithful in best possible way, turning in Zaha's cross 28 seconds after coming on and then steering in Conor Gallagher's pass. Vieira is still without long-term absentees Eberechi Eze and Nathan Ferguson, while Jeffrey Schlupp is rated as doubtful due to a hamstring issue. Michael Olise has recovered and he was a substitute against the Spurs, but now is pushing for a starting role, as well as Luka Milivojevic. However, it would be a big surprise to see Vieira make any changes for this game, but at the same time it would be even bigger surprise not to see last week's hero Edouard in the starting eleven.
Liverpool vs Crystal Palace Prediction:
I expect both teams to score at Anfield. The Reds have netted nine goals in the first four rounds, plus three against Milan in the Champions League. Salah, Mane and Jota are in fine form and the question is only who will score. About Crystal Palace, they destroyed Tottenham with 3:0 and the players confidence is very high. I think the Eagles will upset Liverpool.

High-flying West Ham will try to get a positive result against the motivated Manchester United at the London Stadium. The Hammers started the new season in good way. It is clear the improvement came together with David Moyes. The former Man United manager is doing a fantastic job in London and the fans are satisfied. The club that previously fight for survival, finished 6th last season. Now West Ham play competitive football in Europe for the first time since the 2016/17 season. The start of the new season was excellent. West Ham beat Newcastle with 4:2 in the opening round thanks to goals from Aaron Cresswell, Said Benrahma, Tomas Soucek and Michail Antonio. In the second round they faced Leicester City and won 4:1. Once again Michail Antonio put his name on the scoring list. His brace and goals from Pablo Fornals and Benrahma were enough to see West Ham on the top of the table. But the draws with Crystal Palace and Southampton saw them dropping on the table. On Thursday they visited the Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb in UEFA Europe League. It wasn't easy against the team that had eliminated Tottenham last season, but goals from Antonio and Declan Rice ensured a winning start in Europe. The atmosphere in the squad is positive, though Moyes has one big problem. Key striker Antonio was sent off last weekend and can't play against Manchester United. Most probably he will be replaced with Jarrod Bowen.
Manchester United are on the top of the table after four rounds with 10 points. So far they have three wins and one draw. The Red Devils outplayed Leeds United in the first round, then shared the points with Southampton and beat Wolverhampton in the third round. Being first in September isn't something special, but the fans believe this could be their season. The reason for that is the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. His impact was immediate in the match against Newcastle - CR7 put United ahead just before half-time with a simple tap-in, before restoring that lead midway through the second-half with an expertly taken finish, after the Magpies equalized previously. Scoring two crucial goals warmed the atmosphere at Old Trafford and brought the fans close to delirium. Jesse Lingard and Bruno Fernandes also netted in the finish of the match to secure a high 4:1 win. According to many pundits, Man United are genuine title pretenders this season. And just when everything look shine, they lost in the Champions League. The Red Deils suffered an embarrassing 2:1 defeat away to Young Boys on Tuesday with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer under scrutiny for his tactics in the defeat. Maybe the reason for the defeat is Aaron Wan-Bissaka's red card in the first half, maybe the big mistake made by Jesse Lingard in the finish of the match. Nevertheless, one thing is clear, the players will enter the match against West Ham fully motivated. Solskjaer is still missing some of them - Amad Diallo, Edinson Cavani, Phil Jones and Marcus Rashford are sidelined through injury, while Scott McTominay, goalkeeper Dean Henderson and Alex Telles are rated as doubtful.
West Ham vs Manchester United Prediction:
Both teams started the new season in solid way and both teams were involved in Europe during the midweek. However, West Ham played two days later, on Thursday. Their roster isn't too big and that will probably have an impact on their performance in this match. To be worse, their key player Antonio is out suspended. Manchester United should win three points here.
