They get a four-match winning streak under the management of Carlo Ancelotti in the League, which makes them the most surprise this season. There is no other teams of the League expect Everton get a seven-match winning streak in recent games. As a matter of fact, they show their ambitions in transfer window. They bring in lots of excellent players to improve themselves. And it works.
They have ups and downs this new season. The absence of Thiago Alcantara do Nascimento and Sadio Mane due to 2019-nCoV influences their playing. They lose to Aston Villa at 2-7 before, which has a huge impact on their confidence and morale, and it also brings the biggest challenge to their coach Jurgen Klopp since he has taken charge of Liverpool.
The Asian handicap first odd is Liverpool rovers -0.5, which seems to give support to them. Liverpool are slightly better than Everton in overall strength. But Everton are in high morale and have home advantage. So Everton have the trend to win.

Everton are the leaders in the Premier League with 12 points from four matches. This is the first Merseyside derby they are starting top of the table since 1989. It is obvious Everton are fantastic in the new season. Manager Carlo Ancelotti is doing an excellent job and the fans are pleased. Some of them start dreaming about the title, though it's too early. However, four victories in four matches should not be underestimated. The Toffees first beat Tottenham at White Hart Lane thanks to Dominic Calvert-Lewin's goal. I the second round Everton outplayed West Bromwich with 5:2. Once again Calvert-Lewin was the key figure as he netted a hat-trick. The remaining two goals were scored by James Rodriguez and Michael Keane. The winning series continued with a narrow 2:1 win at Crystal Palace, with Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison scoring the goals. Finally, Everton beat Brighton with 4:2 before the international break. This time James scored a brace, while Calvert-Lewin and Mina Yerry also put their names on scoring sheet. Calvert-Lewin could become the first Everton player to score in his opening five league matches since Tommy Lawton in 1938. Most of the key players are ready for the derby, but Lucas Digne suffered a knee injury on international duty and he is rated as doubtful. Seamus Coleman, Allan and Andre Gomes are also doubtful, while Mason Holgate is definitely sidelined. Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Cenk Tosun remain long-term injury victims.
Liverpool were very good in the first three rounds of the Premier League. The Reds first obtained a narrow 4:3 win over Leeds United at Anfield. Mohamed Salah scored a hat-trick on that match. Next they beat Chelsea 2:0 at Stamford Bridge thanks to Sadio Mane's brace. Arteta's Arsenal were the third victims - Mane, Robertson and Diogo Jota, who had a debut, secured a 3:1 win. And just when everybody thought this could be another successful season for Jurgen Klopp and his players, the disaster came - Liverpool lost 7:2 to Aston Villa. This is the worst results in the club's long and illustrious history, and perhaps the most painful moment for the fans. It was the first time the Reds have conceded 7 goals since 1963. Klopp was missing Alisson, Mane and Thiago, but nothing could be an excuse for such high defeat. Liverpool need a strong response and that could only be a victory at Goodison Park. Klopp has good record in the Merseyside derbies - he is unbeaten in the 11 games across all competitions, winning 7 of them. The German coach will be boosted by the returns of Mane and Thiago after recovering from coronavirus, as well as Xherdan Shaqiri and Naby Keita. Centre-back Joel Matip is also back, while Kostas Tsimikas is rated as doubtful due to a thigh injury. However, the regular goalkeeper Alisson Becker remain sidelined with a shoulder injury. His absence is a huge handicap, particularly because his replacement Adrian was awful at Villa Park. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is out with a knee problem.
Everton vs Liverpool Prediction:
I expect both teams to score at Goodison Park. Everton are in fantastic form, they have scored 12 goals in the first 4 rounds. Calvert-Lewin is excellent, he will be very motivated to continue his scoring show. The England striker could become the first Everton player to score in his opening five league games since Tommy Lawton in 1938. Liverpool, meanwhile, suffered a heavy defeat at Villa Park and the fans are expecting a reaction from Klopp's players. There should be goals
Everton vs Liverpool Pick: Both teams to score - Yes @ 1.57 with Pinnacle
This is the derby of the 5th round, a match between two established Top-6 sides. Manchester City are favorites, but they are in poor form at the moment. The Citizens have no win on the last two matches in the Premier League. First they were humiliated by Leicester City at the Etihad and lost 5:2. For the first time since February 2003, the Citizens have conceded five goals in a home match. It was an awful experience for Pep Guardiola. It's the first time in 686 games that Pep has conceded five goals as coach. The defense showed lot of weaknesses and the Spaniard decided to sign Ruben Dias from Benfica for £65m. The 23-year-old Portugal international had 113 senior appearances for Benfica and played 19 times for the national team. However, his arrival wasn't enough City to win against Leeds United before the international break. Raheem Sterling secured advantage in the first half, though the Whites equalized in the 59th minute and the final score was 1:1. The fact they dropped five of six points in the last two games surely frustrated Guardiola. I believe he will ask the maximum of his players in this match. Pep has some offensive issues too - both strikers, Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero, are injured. To be worse, two more players struggled playing for the national teams. Key midfielder Kevin De Bruyne trudged off during Belgium's defeat to England at Wembley and subsequently withdrew from the squad for their next Nations League game against Iceland. Raheem Sterling, who withdrew from the England squad with a hamstring problem, should be ready in time for this game. Oleksandr Zinchenko is also nearing a full recovery.
Arsenal have three victories in the first four rounds of the Premier League. They beat Fulham at Craven Cottage with 3:0, and beat West Ham and Sheffield United at home with identical 2:1. Willian, who came from Chelsea this Summer, assisted all three goals against Fulham. Alexandre Lacazette scored the opener, centre-back Gabriel doubled the lead, while the captain Pierre-Emerick Aubamayeng set the final 3:0. Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah netted against the Hammers, while Bukayo Saka and Nicolas Pepe found the back of the net in the narrow victory against the Blades. The only defeat was suffered at Anfield. Arsenal started very good against the reigning champions and secured an early lead through Lakazette, but conceded three times in the next period and lost 3:1. However, 9 points from the possible 12 is definitely a good result and I believe the fans are satisfied. Arteta is doing an excellent job and the next period will be crucial for the club ambitions. However, he has huge issues in front of this game. The key player Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang withdrew from the Gabonese squad with a sprained ankle and he is in race with the time to be fit for the trip to Etihad. Kieran Tierney is also doubtful as had close contact with Scotland teammate Stuart Armstrong, who has tested positive for COVID-19. Thomas, who came from Atletico Madrid, will probably make his debut. Emile Smith Rowe, Pablo Mari and Shkodran Mustafi remain sidelined, as well as longer-term absentees Gabriel Martinelli and Calum Chambers. The former star man Mesut Ozil has not been part of Arteta's plans so far and I expect to continue that way.
Manchester City vs Arsenal Prediction:
I expect both teams to score at the Etihad. Manchester City scored and conceded on each of the three games so far in the Premier League. Arsenal, meanwhile scored on all four played matches, while kept clean sheet just once. This should be an interesting and efficient derby.
Manchester City vs Arsenal Pick: Both teams to score - Yes @ 1.61 with Pinnacle

Tottenham will host London rivals West Ham at New White Hart Lane. The Spurs didn't start the new season according to the expectations, but they are improving. First they lost 1:0 to Everton at home after a disappointing display, then won 5:2 against Southampton at St Mary, while in the third round dropped two points against Newcastle. In the last match Jose Mourinho's men outplayed Manchester United at Old Trafford. It was a memorable day for the fans as Tottenham won 6:1. Son Heung-min and Harry Kane scored twice, while Tanguy Ndombele and Serge Aurier also found the back of the net. The Special One was happy, he picked up his first away league victory against a team he has previously managed in the Premier League. Kane and Son are fantastic, they have combined 26 Premier League goals, more than any other current pair. Tottenham were also successful in the qualifications for UEFA Europe League. The Spurs have eliminated Bulgarian side Lokomotiv Plovdiv, Macedonian outfit Shkendija Tetovo and Maccabi Haifa and secured the group stage. Their first match is coming this Thursday when they host Austrian side LASK Linz. Mourinho has the key players ready, including Kane who suffered injury while on international duty. He will lead the line, even if not 100% fit. Gareth Bale is in contention to make his debut, but it is unlikely to be as a starter. Eric Dier, who missed England's defeat to Denmark in midweek with a hamstring injury, is rated as doubtful. At the end I will mention that Wales centre-back Joe Rodon signed a five-year deal for £11m. The 22-year-old defender played 54 games for Swansea City and started all three of Wales' matches during the international break.
West Ham lost the opening two matches of the season. They were beaten 2:0 from Newcastle after uninspiring display in the first round, while in the second lost 2:1 to Arsenal at the Emiratas. The fans were afraid to see a repeat of last season's relegation battle. However, the Hammers started to play much better and obtained two high victories against two respectable sides. The outplayed Wolverhampton in the third round and won 4:0. Jarrod Bowen was most deserved for the victory as he scored twice. Pablo Fornals has to mentioned too as he assisted 6 goals in the Premier League, more than any other player for West Ham since the start of last season. In the last match before the international break West Ham won 3:0 against Leicester City. Even more, the victory was obtain at King Power Stadium. Michail Antonio, Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen were the scorers on that match. This time Cresswell provided two assists. It was the first time he provided an assist in a top-flight game after 36 appearances. I believe the atmosphere in the squad is now better. West Ham could win 3 consecutive Premier League matches without conceding for the first time since February 2014. Manager David Moyes will try to use the momentum in order to produce a surprise against the favorites. The Scot has few worries ahead of this match as Ryan Fredericks is still absent, while Arthur Masuaku remains doubtful. And one transfer news - the club brought Said Benrahma from Brentford in a £30m deal. The 25-year-old Algerian international joins on loan for £5m but the Hammers have an obligation to make the transfer permanent for £20m, with a further £5m possible in add-ons.
Tottenham vs West Ham Prediction:
Both teams are in very good form. I expect an interesting match, however Tottenham are closer to the victory. The quality is on their side, no doubt about that. And I think the Spurs has two players able to make the difference - Kane and Son.
