Hello, I am 18 years old and looking for a good online poker platform. I was told that FullTilt Poker is one of the best. I just had a question or two.

My first question is, is it easy to cash out? I know from past experiences with my brother, from other online gambling sites, they wanted him to send in his information/id and finance records. That seems a little odd to me. I was was just wondering if Full Tilt was more simple, like you put money in via credit card/paypal however the payment method is. Then you win some money, and can cash out when you like, without having to do an obstacle course.

Fulltilt poker is the best poker site, at least for me.
If they want some documents its to ensure your identity, because there are bad people that steal money from poker sites. They will never use this information for other things, every poker site wants this kind of information, actually you should be scared if they dont want it.
 
okay, thank you a lot for the prompt answer! :D also, I'm only 18 and at home with my parents. The most I could give them would be my drivers license. Would that be sufficient to cashout?

Nah, their support is fast.
Maybe slower in weekends cause they dont work.
 
FullTilt is definitely one of the better poker rooms out there. Cash outs are easy and they just need to know you are who you say you are.

Game play there is definitely the best on the web for me. I really like the interface better than most other poker rooms. For me it helps to manage my game having a cleaner interface and reasonably timed action. Some other sites are really fast with the betting and don't show you the total amount in the pot (similar to real world poker I guess), making it harder to make quick decisions when you are on the clock. Decisions like should I bet pot, half the pot, over the pot, etc. They also have a ton of action every day, it's hard not to find a game you are looking for. Bigger tournaments are starting all through the day, even if you want to play large stakes there are plenty of games, including a 1M guaranteed tournament every week that plenty of pros play in.

Does Full Tilt require proof of age when you sign up or cash out? I was not aware of that, in fact if you ask for a check, they will just send it I believe, without asking anything.
 
Fulltilt requires id for withdrawing, you can play without identifying yourself, but when you want to withdraw you have to present id. Every self respecting site does that.
