Newcastle vs Liverpool Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Newcastle:
Dubravka; Manquillo; Schar, Lascelles, Dummett, Ritchie; Kenedy, Shelvey, Hayden, Atsu; Rondon

Liverpool:
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Mane

Newcastle are on the 13th position with 42 points. The Magpies are eleven points away from the drop zone and they have secured the Premier League safety. Manager Rafa Benitez done a solid job and I believe the fans are satisfied. Nevertheless, he is still asking the maximum from his players. The actual form is good, Newcastle have two victories and one draw on the last three matches. First they managed to beat Leicester City with 1:0 thanks to the Ayoze Perez's goal. Two weeks ago the Magpies won 3:1 against Southampton. Ayoze Perez was again 'Player of the match' as he scored all three goals. In the last round Newcastle played an 1:1 draw with Brighton. Guess who scored the goal - Ayoze Perez. He is in excellent form at the moment scoring seven goals in his past seven Premier League games, as many as he had in his previous 33 in the competition. Rondon should also be mentioned, he has been directly involved in 44% of Newcastle's Premier League goals this season (16/36). It is the highest such percentage for Newcastle in a top division season since Alan Shearer in 2003/04. Benitez has some injury worries ahead of this match. Midfielder Miguel Almiron will miss the end of the season after suffering a hamstring injury. The in-form Ayoze Perez, who limped off in the first half of Saturday's draw with Brighton, is rated as doubtful. Miguel Almiron, Sean Longstaff and Florian Lejeune are sidelined for the rest of the season.

Liverpool suffered a heavy 3:0 defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday night. I am sure the atmosphere in the club has spoiled after that, while the players confidence is lower. Such a defeat is always hard to be swallowed, particularly because Sadio Mane, James Milner and Mohamed Salah missed some clear opportunities. Nevertheless, manager Jurgen Klopp now must find a way to motivate his players. The Reds are still fighting for the domestic trophy. They are second in the Premier League with 91 points. Manchester City are on the first place with 92 points after last weekend's narrow victory at Burnley. The Citizens will secure a second consecutive title if they win their remaining two matches in the Premier League against Leicester City and Brighton & Hove Albion. Of course, Liverpool will fight until the last round. They are in series of seven league victories. Three of them were obtained away from home. The Merseysiders managed to beat Fulham, Southampton and Cardiff City and they will try to secure the fourth consecutive victory on road. But Klopp has some injury worries ahead of this match. Even bigger problem is the fact some of his key players need rest ahead of the second leg match with Barcelona three days later. Naby Keita will miss the rest of the season after picking up a groin injury against Barcelona. Roberto Firmino, who played the last seven minutes against Barcelona, is rated as doubtful with a minor muscle tear. Adam Lallana remain sidelined.

Newcastle vs Liverpool Prediction:

I think Newcastle could upset Liverpool. The Magpies are in good form at the moment, they have two victories and one draw on the last three matches. The Reds, meanwhile, suffered a painful 3:0 defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League during the midweek. The players are disappointed, while most of them are tired. Newcastle won't lose with more than one goal.

Newcastle vs Liverpool Pick: Newcastle +1.5 Asian Handicap @ 1.85 with Bet365

Arsenal vs Brighton Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Arsenal:
Leno; Mustafi, Sokratis, Monreal; Jenkinson, Torreira, Xhaka, Kolasinac; Mkhitaryan, Iwobi; Aubameyang

Brighton:
Ryan; Bruno, Duffy, Dunk, Bernardo; Gross, Bissouma, Stephens, March; Murray, Andone

Arsenal are still competing for the top four finish with Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham. The Gunners have 66 points, two less than fourth-placed Chelsea. A victory here could see them climbing to the fourth position, but only if the Blues don't win against Watford earlier. The actual form is poor, Arsenal are in series of three defeats in the Premier League. First they lost 3:2 to Crystal Palace at the Emirats. The home defeat was followed by two on road. Unai Emery's men lost 3:1 to Wolverhampton Wanderers and lost 3:0 to Leicester City. However, Arsenal are excellent in UEFA Europe League. The Gunners managed to eliminate the Belarus side BATE Borisov, French outfit Rennes and Serie A team Napoli. The club from North London won 3:1 against Valencia during the midweek and came very close to the final. Alexandre Lacazette scored the first two goals, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted the third. Europe League is another chance for securing the Champions League football for the next season. Coach Unai Emery has some injury and suspension worries ahead of this match. Defender Ainsley Maitland-Niles is suspended after saw red card against Leicester City last weekend. Aaron Ramsey, Denis Suarez, Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck remain sidelined through injuries, while Mesut Ozil and Nacho Monreal are rated as doubtful.

Brighton are on the 17th position, just one place away from the drop zone. They were deeply involved into the relegation battle, but Cardiff City failed to win against Crystal Palace this round and the Seagulls somehow survived. They have 35 points, enough to avoid the relegation. The actual form is poor, Brighton have won just two of their past 16 Premier League matches, losing 10 matches. In addition, they are winless in their last seven games. Worst of all, they have lost all 11 of their Premier League away games against established top-six opposition, by an aggregate score of 2:23. In the last round they played an 1:1 draw with Newcastle United. Pascal Gross scored the only goal on that match, ending a run of 735 minutes without a goal in all competitions. Glenn Murray should also be mentioned. First of all, he missed a great chance in the finish of the match to secure the victory for Brighton. A goal in that situation will guaranteed the safety at that moment. On the positive note, he provided his first Premier League assist for Brighton and his first since April 2015, ending a run of 97 appearances without one. Manager Chris Hughton has most of his players available for this match, but Davy Propper is sidelined due to injury. In addition, Beram Kayal will be assessed after suffering a hamstring injury against Newcastle last weekend. Solly March came from the bench at half time against Newcastle last weekend and impressed in that match. It won't be a surprise if March start from the first minute at the Emirats.

Arsenal vs Brighton Prediction
:

I expect an interesting match between top-four chasing Arsenal and Brighton at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners are huge favorites in this match, mainly thanks to the home advantage. But Arsenal play with Valencia in Europe League semi-finals next Thursday and Emery may decide to rest some of his main players. Brighton, meanwhile, play poor on road. They have failed to score in eight Premier League away fixtures this season. That is why I am expecting a low scoring match.

Arsenal vs Brighton Pick: Under 3.0 goals @ 1.81 with Pinnacle
