Juventus vs Udinese Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Juventus:
Szczesny; De Sciglio, Chiellini, Bonucci, Alex Sandro; Bentancur, Can, Matuidi; Ronaldo, Mandzukic, Bernardeschi

Udinese:
Musso; De Maio, Troost-Ekong, Nuytinck, Zeegelaar; Larsen, Fofana, Sandro; Pussetto, Okaka, De Paul

Juventus sit on the first place with 72 points. The Old Lady have 16 points advantage to the second-placed Napoli and I believe they will win another Scudetto, the 8th in a row. Juve won 23 from 26 played matches in Serie A and they are the only side in the league without a single defeat. The atmosphere in the squad is excellent, while the players confidence is high. The actual league form is good, Juve are in series of four victories in Serie A. Last weekend the Old Lady managed to beat second-placed Napoli at Stadio San Paulo with 2:1. Miralem Pjanic and Emre Can were the scorers on that match. Of course, Juventus are big favorites in this match, however something else could distract the players - the upcoming Champions League fixture with Atletico Madrid. As You probably know, Juventus lost 2:0 in Spain and now need three-goal victory to secure progress. Alegri will probably rest some of his key players here. To be worse, the coach has some injury and suspension worries ahead of this match. Two midfielders - Joao Cancelo and Miralem Pjanic - are sidelined through suspension. Most probably Rodrigo Bentancur will start in the midfield. The 21-year-old Uruguayan midfielder scored in the reverse fixture at Friuli in October. Sami Khedira, Juan Cuadrado and Douglas Costa remain out injured.

Udinese are on the 15th place with 25 points. The Zebrette are seven points away from the relegation zone, but there's no space for any relaxation. The actual form is very good, they won the last two matches in Serie A. Udinese first beat Chievo with 1:0 thanks to the goal scored by Lukasz Teodorczyk in the finish of the match. Last weekend Udinese won another three points by winning Bologna with 2:1. Rodrigo De Paul scored the first goal from penalty, while Ignacio Pussetto brought the victory in the 79th minute. These two victories halted a run of four games without win in which Udinese have collected just one point. The atmosphere in the squad is now better, while the players confidence is higher. Coach Davide Nicola will try to continue the positive series, however it will be extremely difficult against the reigning champions. Of course, his players have nothing to lose in this match. Just to mention, Juve had already dropped some points in Turin against Parma and Genoa. Coach Nicola also have some injury and suspension issues. Winger Marco D’Alessandro is sidelined through injury, as well as midfielders Valon Behrami and Emmanuel Badu, while Antonin Barak is rated as doubtful. Finally, Rolando Mandragora won’t be available to face his former club due to suspension.

Juventus vs Udinese Prediction:

I expect both teams to score at Allianz Stadium in Turin. Juventus are the leaders and favorites in this match. However, Udinese are in solid form, they won the last two matches in Serie A. The players confidence is high and I believe they could score here.
