Police arrived at the scene immediately to remove the anti-Semitic remark. "The writing on a wall that appeared near the Circo Massimo horrifies me," Rome mayor Virginia Raggi wrote on Twitter. Nicola Zingaretti, President of the Lazio Region, added: "Some thugs have used football as a platform for their seedy insults once more." In October 2017, Lazio supporters left images of Frank in a Roma kit and anti-Semitic messages in the Curva Sud at the Olimpico after their win against Cagliari.
