Have anybody else had their account cleaned by Bet365?

I happily created an account with BET365 to get a bonus. That was great, they double the amount, no questions asked! However, there is a catch...

After betting for 90 days - not doing to well, though - my account is suddenly cleaned completely from whatever money I had left (and we are not talking a tiny amount here). I'm thinking that must be a mistake, it can't be right, but no! BET365 tells me that I needed to gamble the entire bonus amount 3 times + my original payment otherwise they just clear the entire account after 90 days. Without notice or any message telling you when it will happen or how much more you need to gamble. I was extremely surprised. I was put in an even worse situation than if I had not received the bonus at all!

So my question is, who would support such a company and is that really how it generally is on the betting sites? I have used Unibet a while back, and they worked out very well. They never cleaned my account, but of course they could have changed also.

What are the best sites to use, for I'm certainly not putting more money in the direction of BET365? I had them close my account immediately (that was pretty much all their online assistant could do me for) so I would need to find another site.

Thank you!

Maybe that is stated in their bonus terms and conditions, thats why people should read them carefully. Bonus ammounts should be used and betted, otherwise you dont clear the bonus req and you lose it, but in this case I dont know why they took your deposited ammount. Its not good. But if they have this in their terms and conditions then there is nothing you can do.
Other good sites are bwin, betfair(especially for sportsbetting, very good odds and 5% commission on winning bets, but the odds are just way better and they compensate that. Especially good odds on outsiders and very good platform for live betting).

I think you are absolutely right. They state the rules when you enter the agreement and I'm confident that they stick to the rules. However, I think that it still could be at the edge of what is legal according to Nothern European Law. Let me explain. They are exploiting that they do not give their customers access to sufficient information in order to fulfill their obligations and there is no way that the customers can be aware of that when entering the agreement. You would expect that you have equal access to information. So even though they inform about the rules upon receiving the bonus, they do not inform you that you have to figure out yourself which date the 90 days ends and if you have been betting enough to keep your bonus money. Had they done that, nobody would question their methods.

However, I just wanted to make people aware and find another options for myself next time I receive a "bonus".

If you want you can email next time you deposit and say that you dont want a bonus, in that way nothing can happen. Although I always take bonuses, even cashedout a few times after successfully clearing the requirements, infact in my early betting years I took every bonus I can and cleared it until I can withdraw. I won a lot of money that way, now its not possible because they have other rules but back then it was possible.
I know its a lot of to read so better dont take bonuses if you are not sure you can fulfill the req.

I'm still able to withdraw funds from them just for the record. But only for a few amount.
