Toulouse vs Liverpool Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Toulouse:
Restes; Desler, Diarra, Nicolaisen, Suazo; Sierro, Spierings, Casseres Jr; Donnum, Dallinga, Magri

Liverpool:
Kelleher; Gomez, Matip, Quansah, Tsimikas; Elliott, Endo, Gravenberch; Doak, Gakpo, Diaz

Toulouse welcome Liverpool to Stadium Municipal on Thursday evening in one of the most interesting fixtures in Europa League. The Reds are on the first place in Group E with maximal 9 points, while the French outfit are sharing the second place with Union Royale from Belgium as both sides have four points. LASK Linz are pointless on the last position. Assuming that Union will beat the Austrian side, Toulouse coach Carles Martinez is feeling some pressure ahead of this match. Liverpool are arguably the main candidates for the trophy, but Les Violets must go for a positive result. The actual form is poor, Toulouse suffered painful defeats from Montpellier and newly-promoted Le Havre in domestic Ligue 1. The atmosphere in the squad is poor, while the players confidence is low. In addition, coach Martinez has three injury worries. Winger Zakaria Aboukhlal will skip the match due to a knee injury, while Oliver Zanden and Denis Genreau are also out of contention through a hip and back injury respectively.

The last season was very frustrating for Liverpool fans. The Reds finished as fifth in the Premier League and failed to secure a Champions League spot, so they play in Europe League now. The start of the actual season was very good, until the last weekend. Liverpool have visited the newcomers Luton Town, arguably one of the worst clubs in the division. The fans and pundits were expecting an easy victory, however the reality was quite different. The Reds missed few good opportunities and were stunned by a late Tahith Chong breakaway goal. Liverpool were lucky to escape the defeat as Luis Diaz equalized the result during the stoppage time. It was an emotional moment as his father is still kidnapped in Colombia. Klopp showed huge frustrations during the match, especially when Darwin Nunez missed the empty goal. Most probably he will rest the majority of his key players, while four are injured - Andy Robertson, Stefan Bajcetic and Thiago Alcantara are definitely out, while Curtis Jones, who skipped the match with Luton due to a "minor fitness issue" is rated as doubtful.

Toulouse vs Liverpool Prediction:

I expect both teams to score at Stadium Municipal. Toulouse are in must win situation, particularly because Union have a relatively easy match against bottom-placed LASK. The French outfit will be offensively oriented and I think they will score. Klopp will probably rest his regular defenders, starting from the goalkeeper Alisson Becker. Alexandar-Arnold, Konate and Van Dijk are also not expected to start, as well as injured Robertson. Liverpool, meanwhile, have scored on each game this season. The Reds are between the most efficient teams in Europe League, scoring 10 goals in the first three matches - only Bayer Leverkusen have more (11). Considering these facts, I expect an efficient match.

Toulouse vs Liverpool Pick: Both teams to score - Yes @ 1.66 with Pinnacle

Slavia Prague vs Roma Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Slavia Prague:
Mandous; Vlcek, Ogbu, Holes; Tomic, Dorley, Zafeiris, Provod; Van Buren, Chytil, Masopust

Roma:
Patricio; Mancini, Llorente, Ndicka; Karsdorp, Bove, Paredes, El Shaarawy; Dybala, Lukaku, Aouar

Slavia Prague welcome Roma to Fortuna Arena in the Czech Capital in a derby match of UEFA Europe League's Group G. Roma are first on the table with maximal nine points and will aim to guarantee a place in the Round of 16 with a fourth straight victory. Slavia Prague, meanwhile, are only three points worse off and are also fighting for guaranteed progression to the knock-out phase. Servette and Sheriff Tiraspol are on the last two positions with one point. However, there are three more rounds to be played and nothing is decided yet. But the current form is a problem for Slavia. They suffered a painful 2:1 home defeat to Viktoria Plzen in domestic championship this weekend, after initially going ahead through Mick van Buren. Coach Jindrich Trpisovsky must find a way to restore the players confidence ahead of this match, although it won't be easy. He has almost all players available, only winger Ivan Schranz is injured. He missed the recent league meeting with Viktoria Plzen during the weekend and remain sidelined.

Roma have three victories so far. The Giallorossi started their campaign with a 2:1 away win against Sheriff Tiraspol, then beat Servette 4:0 and Slavia Prague 2:0. The good results in Europa are welcomed for the players, though the fans are not fully satisfied. The reason is simple - poor results in Serie A. The Giallorossi didn't start the season according to the expectations. They have collect 17 points from the first 11 rounds and sit outside the European spots. Coach Jose Mourinho is feeling a big pressure, however the Friedkin brothers are still supporting him. Mourinho won the Europa Conference League in 2022 and reached the final of Europa League and couldn't be sacked so simple. Plus, there are some positive sights - Roma managed to beat Lecce 2:1 on Sunday. It was a dramatic victory, Sardar Azmoun and Romelu Lukaku scored their goals in the stoppage time to complete a turnaround. For this match Mourinho has four injured players - Marash Kumbulla, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Leonardo Spinazzola and striker Tammy Abraham.

Slavia Prague vs Roma Prediction:

According to me, Roma are closer to the victory. The Giallorossi had a slow start in Serie A, but they are perfect in Europa. Jose Mourinho is something like an expert for cup competitions. He is a coach that have all three European trophies to his name and I think he will prioritize this competition. His main task is to finish first in the group to avoid the playoff round and to advance directly to the knock-out stage of the Europa League. The quality is on Roma side as they have players able to make a difference - Dybala and Lukaku.

Slavia Prague vs Roma Pick: Roma to win @ 2.58 with Pinnacle
