Liverpool vs Everton Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Liverpool:
Adrian; Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson; Naby Keita, Wijnaldum, Henderson; Salah, Firmino, Mane

Everton:
Pickford; Sidibe, Mina, Keane, Holgate, Digne; Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Davies, Iwobi; Calvert-Lewin

Liverpool are leaders in the Premier League with 40 points. Jurgen Klopp's side try to continue their winning series. The Reds have won all but one league match in the past four months. They will be buoyed by their 2:1 victory over Brighton during the weekend. Virgil van Dijk was 'Player of Match' - not only scored both goals, but he also ended the match with a passing accuracy of 89.8%. Trent Alexander-Arnold should also be mentioned. Since the start of last season, no player has provided more Premier League assists than him - 17. Liverpool have an eight-point lead over Leicester City, while their biggest rivals Manchester City are eleven points behind. The Reds look to maintain their run of 47 home league games without a defeat. However, there are lot of problems for Klopp ahead of this derby, especially in defense. First goalkeeper Alisson Becker was sent-off on Saturday for a blatant handball outside his penalty area. He won't play here through suspension and his absence is a big handicap. Fabinho has suffered ankle ligament damage against Napoli in the Champions League and he is out for at least four weeks. Joel Matip is still rehabilitating from injury, while Nathaniel Clyne is a long-term absentee.

Everton are on the 17th place, just outside the relegation zone. The actual form is poor, they suffered defeats on the last two matches. The Toffees lost 2:0 to Norwich City at Goodison Park, while on Sunday suffered a last-minute defeat from Leicester City. Everton have already lost eight league matches this season, only Norwich have more defeats. The fans are disappointed, they were expecting to see their team fighting for European spots. Manager Marco Silva is under enormous pressure. By the time this match begins, the Portuguese coach could well have been sacked. Liverpool are the worst possible opponents at the moment as Everton have a bad record. The Toffees have gone 19 matches without a victory against city rivals. In addition, Everton have not won at Anfield in this century. To be worse, the guests have lot of injury issues ahead of this match. Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Andre Gomes are definitely sidelined, while Seamus Coleman, Beni Baningime and Cuco Martina are also struggling with injury and will be assessed. Brazilian attacker Bernard has recovered from the knee problem and was an unused substitute against the Foxes. Fabian Delph and Theo Walcott weren't ready on Sunday and they are rated as doubtful for this match, while Morgan Schneiderlin, who played some 15 minutes against Leicester City, is ready for selection.

Liverpool vs Everton Prediction:

I expect goals from both sides. Liverpool are in excellent form, they have scored in every league game so far. The players confidence is very high and I believe the Reds will continue scoring. At the same time Liverpool have a problem to keep the net untouched. They failed to register a clean sheet since 28 September. So far Everton have played with two of the established 'top-six' sides and managed to score on both matches, against Manchester City and Tottenham. They could take advantage from Alisson's absence.

Manchester United vs Tottenham Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Manchester United:
De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Williams; McTominay, Fred; James, Lingard, Rashford; Martial

Tottenham:
Gazzaniga; Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Rose; Dier, Winks; Sissoko, Dele Alli, Son; Harry Kane

Manchester United welcome Tottenham in the most interesting fixture of this round. The presence of Jose Mourinho will add some extra spice to the derby. He returns to Old Trafford to face his former employers for the first time since being sacked as United manager nearly a year ago. Both teams started the season poor, so the points from this match are extremely important. Manchester United are on the 9th place with 18 points. They are targeting the Champions league spots, however the difference is big eight points at the moment. The actual form isn't good, they have just one victory on the last four games in the Premier League. The Red Devils managed to beat Brighton, but lost to Bournemouth and took just a point against Sheffield United and Aston Villa. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under big pressure and positive result here will be very welcome. However, he has some injury worries ahead of this match. Paul Pogba is still unavailable due to an ankle injury. The 26-year-old French international has been sidelined since the match with Arsenal at the end of September. Marcos Rojo is also sidelined, while Diogo Dalot and Nemanja Matic are rated as doubtful. Scott McTominay, who missed the last three matches due to an ankle injury, is expected to make his return. Eric Bailly and Timothy Fosu-Mensah remain long-term absentees having undergone knee surgery earlier this year.

Tottenham are sitting on the fifth place with 20 points. They are closer to the Champions League spots, "just" six points away. The fans are very pleased with the last performances of their team. Newly appointed manager Jose Mourinho bring instant improvement. The former Manchester United boss, who has signed a three-year contract, has obtained three victories in all competitions. The Spurs first managed to beat West Ham with 3:2. Son, Lucas Moura and Harry Kane netted the goals on that match. The second victory came in the Champions League. Tottenham won 4:2 against Greek side Olympiakos. Kane was double scorer, while Dele Alli and Serge Aurier also found the back of the net. Finally, Tottenham won 3:2 against Bournemouth on Saturday. Dele Alli's two goals and Sissoko's strike helped Spurs to their first back-to-back Premier League victories this season. Alli play in excellent form, he was directly involved in three goals in his two Premier League games under Jose Mourinho (2 goals, 1 assist), as many as he managed in his last 12 under Pochettino. The atmosphere in the squad is positive, while the players confidence is higher. Most of the players are ready for this match, but goalkeepers Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm remain sidelined. That means Paulo Gazzaniga is certain to keep his starting role in goal. Erik Lamela and Ben Davies are out injured with thigh and ankle injury respectively.

Manchester United vs Tottenham Prediction
:

Both Manchester United and Tottenham have played high scoring games in the last period. Nevertheless, I expect this match to be different. Mourinho is satisfied with the three starting victories, but he isn't happy with the fact Tottenham conceded two goals on each game. He is known as a pragmatic coach who values a solid 1:0 win more than 2:1 or 3:2. The Portuguese coach will try to improve the defensive performances of his team, starting from this match. I expect a tight and low scoring match at Old Trafford.

Arsenal vs Brighton Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Arsenal:
Leno; Chambers, Mustafi, David Luiz, Tierney; Xhaka, Guendouzi; Saka, Ozil, Aubameyang; Lacazette

Brighton:
Ryan; Montoya, Dunk, Webster, Burn; Bissouma, Stephens, Propper; Connolly, Maupay, Trossard

Arsenal sit on the 8th place with 19 points, seven adrift of a top-four Champions League qualifying spot. So far they have four victories, seven draws and three defeats. The fans were disappointed after the club worst run of results in 27 years. A number of prominent Arsenal supporters asked the owner Stan Kroenke to take an "urgent action". Kroenke reacted quickly and sacked the manager Unai Emery. Ex-Gunners player Freddie Ljungberg was appointed as an interim coach. He played for Arsenal between 1998 and 2007, but has no previous managerial experience. However, Arsenal failed to win on his debut, playing a 2:2 draw with Norwich City. It is clear the defense should be improved - Arsenal have conceded 21 goals in 14 Premier League matches, one more than 16th Brighton. The actual form could not be rated as good. The Gunners have no win on the last six matches in the Premier League. They lost to Sheffield United and Leicester, while shared the points with Crystal Palace, Wolves, Southampton and Norwich. The fact they collected just four of the possible 18 points surely frustrated the fans. Worst of all, the atmosphere in the squad is bad following the Xhaka incident. The Switzerland international clashed with his own fans after his substitution was greeted by sarcastic cheers in the match against Palace at the Emirates Stadium on 27 October. Xhaka played against Norwich, but that was away from home. It will be interesting to see if Xhaka will finally appear at the Emirats, as well as the fans' reaction. Three players are struggling with injury - Dani Ceballos, Hector Bellerin and Rob Holding.

Brighton are on the 16th place with 15 points and it is clear they are involved into the relegation battle. The Seagulls are in poor form, losing the last six matches in the league since beating Norwich a month ago. Last weekend they suffered a narrow 2:1 defeat at Liverpool. I watched the game and I must admit Brighton impressed me. Despite the loss, they had 55% possession at Anfield and 5 corners, compared to Liverpool's 4. They deserved a point according to me. Nevertheless, playing away from home look a problem. Brighton are without a win in their past six away Premier League games, losing the last four. Manager Graham Potter is feeling some pressure, as well as the players. But playing against top sides is not an easy task. The Seagulls have lost four matches against established 'big-six' sides, but managed to beat Tottenham on 5 October. This is the last match against the favorites and it won't be easy. Potter has no new injury concerns, but it is expected to make some changes. French striker Maupay, who was unexpectedly benched at Anfield, should return to the starting eleven, as well as midfielder Trossard. However, three players are struggling with injuries. Bernardo and Jose Izquierdo are definitely sidelined, while Solly March remains a doubt.

Arsenal vs Brighton Prediction:

I expect both teams to score here. Arsenal play at home and they will heavily attack from the very first minute. New manager Ljungberg will like to win on his first match at the Emirats. The Gunners have scored four goals on the last two matches in the Premier League, so I expect to find the back of the net again. Brighton, meanwhile, played very good at Anfield. Despite the narrow 2:1 loss, they impressed me. I am sure the players confidence is now higher. Knowing Arsenal haven't keep clean sheet since 6 October, I expect the Seagulls to score in this match.

Liverpool vs Everton Prediction

  • Liverpool couldn’t have asked for a better time to face their fiercest rivals, Everton. Marco Silva’s men have been absolutely abysmal this season; given the amount of money they have spent since he took over. We can’t see how the Toffees can avoid defeat here given Liverpool’s impeccable form this season. As such, we are tipping Liverpool for an easy 3-1 win or better.

Man United vs Tottenham Prediction
  • Both teams have been scoring plenty of goals lately, but their defences have often let them down. From what we’ve seen so far from both teams in recent games, this will likely be a high scoring affair.
  • Spurs have shown great spirit to win their last 3 competitive fixtures and despite being the away side, it must be said that they do look like the team who will come away with all 3 points. As such, we are predicting the visitors to emerge 3-2 winners in what should be an end-to-end encounter.

Chelsea vs Aston Villa Prediction
  • After a run of 6 straight league wins, Chelsea have stumbled a bit and have lost their last 2 league games. Villa might have earned a 2-2 draw at Manchester United last weekend but their overall form away from Villa Park has been pretty poor, with 5 losses in their last 7 road trips. We think that the Blues will fancy their chances and we are tipping the hosts to return to winning ways with a 3-1 win or better.
