Cardiff City gained automatic promotion from the Championship Division at the end of last season under the stewardship of manager Neil Warnock. The Bluebirds sit outside the relegation zone and I believe the fans are satisfied. At the moment they are on the 16th place with 14 points. Cardiff City have a record of four victories, two draws and eleven defeats so far in the Premier League. If something could be evaluate as positive, that's the fact they won the last three home league games, beating Brighton, Wolverhampton and Southampton. But last weekend they suffered a narrow 3:2 loss at Watford. The Bluebirds scored twice in an away Premier League game for the first time this season through Junior Hoilett and Bobby Reid, but that weren't enough for escaping the defeat. Hoilett is in solid form at the moment - he has scored two goals in his last four Premier League games, more than he'd managed in his previous 61 in the competition. Manager Neil Warnock wasn't satisfied with the referee's decisions and called Andy Madley "a trainee" following the defeat at Vicarage Road. Warnock felt Madley should have sent off Watford's Troy Deeney, but the Football Association has asked Warnock to explain his post-match statements. The hosts have some injury issues ahead of this match, particularly at left-back position - both Joe Bennett and Greg Cunningham are rated as doubtful. In addition, Jazz Richards is definitely sidelined.

Manchester United lost 3:1 to Liverpool on Sunday. To be worse, the Red Devils were poor and totally outplayed. Liverpool had 65 percent of ball possession and recorded 36 shots against Manchester United - the most the Red Devils have faced in a Premier League match since Opta started recording shot data in the season 2003/04. To be worse, the Red Devils have picked up "just" 26 points after their first 17 Premier League games, their worst points haul in the top-flight at this stage since the season 1990/91. It became clear something should be changed. Naturally, manager Jose Mourinho paid the prize and he was sacked. The club officials have named the former player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as caretaker manager until the end of the season. The Norvegian has spent eleven seasons at Old Trafford, scoring the winning goal in the legendary Champions League final against Bayern Munich in 1999. He also won six Premier League titles and two FA Cups. According to Ed Woodward, Manchester United will look to appoint a permanent manager at the end of the season. For this match Solskjaer will almost certainly restore Paul Pogba to the starting eleven. Anthony Martial should start too. Luke Shaw, who missed the last three matches through injury, was pictured back in training and could return at left-back position. Two players are rated as doubtful - Chris Smalling and Scott McTominay. Finally, Alexis Sanchez and Marcos Rojo are definitely sidelined.

Cardiff City vs Manchester United Prediction:

I expect both teams to score here. Cardiff City play very good in front of their fans. The Bluebirds have won the last three home league games, beating Brighton, Wolverhampton and Southampton. More important, Cardiff have scored on each of the last four matches in the Premier League. Manchester United, meanwhile, have scored and conceded on the last four league games. New manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must enter the match with clear offensive approach. I think the Red Devils will score too.

Cardiff City vs Manchester United Pick: Both teams to score - Yes
