Burnley vs Liverpool Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Burnley:
Hart; Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor; Lennon, Defour, Cork, Gudmundsson; Hendrick; Vokes

Liverpool:
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Moreno; Milner, Henderson, Keita; Salah, Sturridge, Shaqiri

Burnley are between the three sides that sit in the relegation zone. The Clarets had finished the last season on the seventh place and nobody was expected to be second from the bottom after 14 rounds. Even the manager Sean Dyche himself may be surprised by how quickly his side have fallen. The actual form is awful, they have five defeats in the last six league matches. During the weekend Burnley lost the match against Crystal Palace. Following the defeat, Dyche said his team have lost their 'eye of the tiger'. indeed, his players have claimed just two victories in the last 19 Premier League matches, after winning five in a row before that series. They looked well organized last season, it was almost impossible to break them down, but this season is quite different. Dyche has some additional issues as Robbie Brady picked up an ankle injury during the defeat at Crystal Palace. Stephen Ward and Nick Pope remain out, but James Tarkowski start the match after being left on the bench during the weekend.

Liverpool are on the second place, two points behind Manchester City. The Reds are excellent in the Premier League, but so far have lot of issues in the Champions League. Liverpool lost all three away fixtures so far in Europe and it is clear they are at the verge of elimination ahead of the last round. The Reds played the Merseyside derby on Sunday, four days after the painful defeat in Paris. It was just another uninspired performance from Jurgen Klopp's men, however a huge Pickford's mistake gave them three points at the end. Nevertheless, it became clear that Liverpool are out of form at the moment. The defense look good, but the attack is toothless. It seems Salah, Mane and Firmino have lost their sharpness. Klopp will probably make some changes on this match. Alberto Moreno is expected to start instead of Andrew Robertson who is struggling with a dead leg. Sadio Mane could be rested after suffered a cut to his foot. Captain Jordan Henderson is back from the suspension.

Burnley vs Liverpool Prediction:

Burnley are out of form at the moment. The Clarets have five defeats in the last six league matches and the players confidence is low. Liverpool strikers looked impotent against Everton on Sunday. Considering these facts, I expect a low scoring match at Turf Moor.

Burnley vs Liverpool Preview: Under 2.5 goals
