As a big sportslover I have been concerned for a while now about the effect of sportsbetting on different sports. The amount of money available today is mind blowing. You can bet on anything from what colour balls are going to be used in a game to when is a player gonna tie his bootlaces.

My concern is for the honest hardworking sportsperson that should get the recognition on the day but a cheater in his/her team or the opposition has taken that moment from him/her away - maybe forever. The cheater may be declared the winner of the contest on the day just to be drugtested and found guilty a few days/weeks or months after the event and the satisfaction/reward for the honest sportsperson is lost. In cricket we have the case where a team can win a game just to be told that the opposition was involved in some sort of betting scheme. For the "victors" it must be gutwrenching to think that they had been cheated out of a possible victory by one or more mongrels in the other teams.

Gambling has many negative effects and sports betting is no exception. The biggest concern is sports betting is the integrity of the game. It has become common place to advertise the point spread either in the media or before the game itself. The fear is that by announcing this, is really encouraging sports gambling. Furthermore spread betting increases the likelihood of match fixing and there have been numerous point shaving scandals.
 
People are seen taking to gambling as a way to run away for their problems, stress, anger and loneliness. Gamblers often exhibit mood swings and a strangely secretive behavior. They run behind gambling without the thought that gambling is actually inviting more problems in their life. Their unquenchable thirst of profits makes them continue wanting more. They start borrowing money and taking secret loans to bet money. In spite of the losses they face, they continue betting. Their addiction to gambling can leave them in bankruptcy.
 
Betting is always stressful if you bet for money.....Today there is no safe pick....only the mathematical system but for that you need a lot of money....(that system can be profitable) for other types of betting you need to have knowledge and luck....and maybe you can earn some money....We are all witnesses about cheating, and we can do nothing about that...Some people are find another way to come a rich.......money is evil and unfortunately we need this evil.....
 
Sportsbetting has created a negative impact on the society especially to the young generation. It seems interesting for many people to invest a big amount of money but when they loose they put themselves in great trouble.
 
Sports betting is really dangerous for sporting world. Sports betting is very easiest way to earn lots money. Either it made you very rich or made you poor. It also affect on better relationship.
 
Some one told that "Gambling has many negative effects and sports betting is no exception" I am fully agree with this statement.
 
Despite sportbetting is considered illegal many people love to do it unaware of the thing that it only cause mental imbalance. It is one of the most addictive activity which force you to take wrong decisions in life and to waste lot of money.
 
My advice is that in order to get started in the gambling world of online sports betting, bet on sports you feel comfortable with and t is true that one can make huge money in betting, having a real profession aids not only for income purposes but also for personal and social development.
 
I can see your point, but personally I think sports betting is not that harmful as long as you are in control of it and it doesn't become an addiction. We all know the problems a gambling addiction can cause, there's no need to repeat that all over. But if you are betting a few bucks just for fun every now and then it should not be too much of a problem. To be honest, I think I have won slightly more than I have lost, my total winning/losing streak is in the plus range.

As for games getting manipulated every now and then its hard to know how often that happens, but I'm sure 99% of those cases are in lower leagues. Pros in the major divisions would just have too much to lose. That's my opinion, anyways
 
I've never thinking about sports betting like fun game or something. For me it's all about money,and i like them))) I think that you can try some magento learning if you need some money and build your own business . O am learning it right now and want to build some e-commerce site like this one . That will be a great add for work and betting i think!
 
It depends on how much you get into it. For me it has only positive effects

Sooner or later it will show its effects.. I started betting in 2007 .. Somehow i survive because i play with the commission money and have a few percentage of ownership with the local bookie. I never seen a punter in profit. In this game only bookie will win. Its hard but its true. The funny but sad thing is people claimed they are in profit but in reality they are not. Ask them to predicted the outcome of few upcoming games ..They will ignore you.. But if you are really in profit then congrats..
 
Well, it depends on how serious you are in betting and not getting any joy from it, for sure, stress will kick!
