Milwaukee Bucks at LA Lakers
February 8, 2022

The Bucks come into tonight’s matchup on a tear by winning and covering 4 out of their last 5 games, and overall have huge momentum by winning 7 of their last 9 games. They’re on their 3rd straight win and going for their 4th straight win when they play as the visitor against the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com arena.

The same can’t be said about the Lakers as they have been flailing in recent weeks. The Lakers are losers of 6 out of the last 10 games but have done a better job of covering the spread by beating the numbers in 6 of those games. In their last game, they needed to hold off the Knicks who forced overtime on Saturday night. Lebron is on a tear himself and had a night with another triple-double by posting a 29-13-10 line. Malik Monk was also a major contributor in the game by scoring 29 and has been a great pick-up for the Lakers as they continue to play through their injuries.

Meanwhile, the Bucks are currently on a 4-game road trip and are taking it seriously as they’ve blown out their last two opponents while scoring 137 points in each of the games. Giannis is averaging a double-double this season and absolutely destroyed the Lakers in their last game back in November with a 47-point explosion. The Bucks are one of the highest-scoring teams in the league while averaging 117.5 in their recent stretch, and that looks to continue tonight.
  • They’re 15-12 on the road and they look to improve on that record with another win tonight in Los Angeles.
  • The Bucks have been dominant against this western opponent while beating the lakers 8 times in the last 10 games and have covered the spread 6 times.
I like the Bucks minus the spread.
